Put some links if you don’t have sales.
In looking for products to purchase, there’s always the mentality of advertisers to just follow and never want to be the first. Your link really matters, because when they see your site without any links on it, they will think twice to make a purchase. Oppositely if they see several links they will likely to buy purchases, more purchases. So if you haven’t still sold any link yet, the most practical way is to support your own links and put them in the paid link section. Because showing a paid links is better than nothing to show, it somewhat awkward but it really works.
Place your links in a common place so that it will be easy to locate.
The rumors that advertisers only buy text links for the sake of search engine ranking and its benefits is not true. Links are very beneficial it helps as well in establishing traffic. However, if you put the text links at the bottom of the blog, or some other place that makes it hard to find, the link advertisers will not receive much traffic from the text links, its somehow useless. We should always assume that advertisers will be finding out your blog for some text links before making up a purchase. So always keep in mind to put your links in highly visible places in order for the advertisers find it easily. That’s one way of increasing your sales.
Name your sponsored links anything but only sponsored links.
Most of the text links do not have a nofollow tag, so this links provide SEO benefits in the part of the advertisers. However, Google doesn’t like it when advertisers pay for a link instead of earning it the old fashion way. There’s a rumor that Google is working on ways to sense sponsored links and placing less trust on sites that will buy them. The problem of Google is they don’t know if a link is sponsored or not.
It is very obvious for the Google to detect sponsored links is when it is labeled as sponsored links. Naming your text link section anything but sponsored links could get you more sales.
You can sign up for text link ads.
If you are able to sell your own links that would be great. So if your blog is somehow in a decent size the best chance to have sales is by signing up with test link ads.
