I can see that becoming an essencial plugin. The captcha one though. I HATE captures with a passion if they're like the one displayed above. I've notice googles captures have become a lot more readable of late. It's too many steps when implementing a blog for a client with no budget. However, spam prevention is quintessential for open source systems like Wordpress. I write plugins for Wordpress as well.
