WordPress 2.8.2 Released
The release of WordPress 2.8.2 has been announced recently. It was an (unexpected) release with a fixed cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Comment author URLs were not fully sanitized when displayed in the admin. This could be exploited to redirect you away from the admin to another site.
You can download WordPress 2.8.2 or automatically upgrade from the Tools -> Upgrade page of your blog’s admin.

Looks just like WordPress 2.8.1.

I upgraded and had no problems at all, a smooth upgrade.
Whenever a immediate release comes after previous released it is likely to fix bugs for previous version released.
that’s right. I also have to update to wordpress 2.8.2 and is good enough to overcome the problem in it’s version before

Upgrade in WP just easy, so its doesnt matter if these release too quickly
first of all it looks just like 2.8.1 and further more, i think its just a common update, just to see that wordpress is still alive . 2.9 will be something different tho`
