Why WordPress Hosting?
Millions of people are doing it everyday, and you are probably following quite a few yourself. We are obviously talking about the phenomenon that is known as blogging. There are a couple of good blogging platforms on the market today but the one that we prefer and would like to recommend is WordPress. Getting started is easy to do – all you have to do is download the software and pick some great blog web hosting to go along with it.
So, once you have downloaded the WordPress software it is time to pick among the best WordPress hosts available. Be sure to do some research before you make your decision since WordPress requires your hosting to be of the highest standard. This does not mean that it will cost you fortune as the hosting is shared; only costing about $4 a month. There are unfortunately some unreliable hosts out there but if you do your research properly you will find a host matching all of your needs. Read reviews and check what other bloggers thoughts are on their hosting services – do not trust solely on what is written on the homepage of a web host as they obviously only will write positive comments.
One of the reasons to why blogging has become so popular is that it is a great and easy way of communicating with like-minded people all over the world. WordPress was first released in 2003 and it has since then become the easiest and most user-friendly blogging tool, at least according to what we have found. Installing WordPress, as well as WordPress hosting, will only take a couple of minutes. Learning how to manage the system is also something that will be done in no time at all. Publishing articles is easily done with a few clicks via the admin. Do you want to add images or a video? No problem, simply upload your material or link to the appropriate URL. Thanks to a large number of free themes to choose from you will be able to customize your blog into looking exactly as you want it to.

I have a website not a blog.. Can I switch to wordpress??
Waiting for the reply,
Regards,
Yogindernath
It depends on lots of factors. If possible, I advise you to switch to WordPress
nhc your right you can use wordpress for corporate websites.
if you dont own a blog, but a website, you should really ask yourself the question ” Will My_Name.WORDPRESS.com fit for my company ? ” Dont know about the others, but I wont consider a company that uses free hosting to promote itself on the web.
Think of Godaddy, how would you see them with their main website GoDaddy.wordpress.com ?
Hope you do get my point.
Regards.
I am more into using Blogger for blogging. I really want to use WordPress and i have said this many times in your posts before. But you know its really hard to get through the hosting cost.
Anyway am planning to use it someday….
I have used blogger in the past. I do like wordpress a bit better, but if you have an established blog, it may not be worth the switch. I think it is definately worth choosing when you are just starting out.
You are always inspiring to use WordPress. I wish i could use it….
Why? What’s the problem? I looked at your site. I think it’s good niche(if optimized and utilized properly) and you might be earning a good. Then why not shift to wordpress for more compatibility?
WordPress is totally the way to go. As for hosting, make sure that your host is set up for one-click upgrades. I promise that you do not want to be updated each file by hand every time WordPress does an upgrade.
wordpress is very compatible CMS to make money online. Check the host whether have minimum down time and high performance. It’s good for SEO too.
I found many hosting offer ‘unlimited’ space and bandwitdh. How can I check that they are really providing ‘unlimited’ space and bw ?
First way, check how much are they trusted around the web. Search the webhosts review. Also you can ask for a test account or server specs
I agree with the opinions above, because wordpress is very simple in use
Hello Basin,
Not only wordpress is simple, it has some exceptional design themes which blogger doesnt have. Take an example of Themelib.com. What an elegant design it has. Quite appealing. This thing attracts me a lot to come to this website almost daily.
yes I agree with your opinion about the design theme is the exceptional, than that is also very search engine friendly.
thanks for your replays
Yes basmin. I even searched in Themelib. It contains some even better theme designs but mostly are paid ones.. I must say all wordpress themes are far better than blogger.

jack
The reason that most people do it is that they like to be in control of all their own stuff. Because it can be quite complex and expensive I think they tend to be techie guys, probably that work in the industry that know what they are doing.
How difficult is it to switch a current blog to wordpress, and what are the start-up costs associated?
WordPress is really one of the best options for web hosting as it has got so much variety to offer to its users!
WordPress is not a web hosting, it is a blogging application. You can download wordpress and host it on your own or get an account with wordpress and have them host it.
WordPress is the choice for noobs and pros alike. Highly customizable too – no wonder it’s so popular.
