If You Write It, They Will Come
While a well-designed WordPress template will dazzle and impress your visitors, it is content that will bring traffic and legitimacy to your site. Indeed, content is still king, and nothing will aid your SEO efforts more effectively than custom, well written, keyword-infused content.
Use Your Time Wisely
Your time as a webmaster is precious. Between brainstorming the next biggest idea to customizing templates, you have little time left to spend fighting writer’s block, researching article material, or composing persuasive web copy. Make sure you spend your time wisely, focusing on what has made you successful: building websites. Leave the SEO writing to a content developer, and you are quickly on your way to dominating the web with your network of sites.
Hire the Right SEO Content Writer
While there are many writers in the sea, not all can help you catch your visitors. Some freelance writers only develop fiction stories, while others are accustomed to writing dull annual corporate reports. For your websites, it is important that you enlist the services of a SEO writer. A writer that specializes in online content understands keyword density, keyphrase placement, and the ADD behavior of the typical web surfer.
Once you have ascertained that a content development firm specializes in online prose, you should spend a few moments reviewing their samples. The tone should be light, easy-to-read, and compelling. Do you feel motivated to read the entire article? Does the information capture your attention? If you like the writing style, chances are your visitors will too, as you are quite representative of your target demographic.
What’s the Word on the Web?
Writing samples and experience are important ingredients, but the icing on the cake will be the content development firm’s reputation. You want to ensure that you are investing in high-quality custom content that will help your SEO efforts and garner attention from your visitors.

Twitter

This is a good reference for writing better quality posts. Writing is a skill that bloggers should constantly cultivate.
True… the powerful to influence through the written word is powerful and priceless.
Content is the king. All the keywords will be tracked and listed in search engine.
The thing with writing is that some people are naturally more prolific than others, and that one needs to be cognisant of that. Sometimes employing a pro writer just makes sooooo much more sense!
The problem is with small time bloggers like me is that we cannot afford professional help. I agree that the content makes all the difference, and one tries one’s best with the resources available till some decent income is generated.
I totally understand that Nicole. But here are two tricks that you can use:
Swap articles. Allow guest post. Trade your expertise for articles.
One thing that has helped me to is that I have a quick article writing formula…it takes me about 20 minutes to pop out articles (good ones) using it. I have systemized the process, and I write about stuff I know and love so that combo helps.
20-30 minutes for 300 words of unique quality content is a totally realistic result for a niche you know pretty well. When I write posts for the niches I know, my keyboard is literally burning.
But when I’m about to write an article for the jewelry niche, I always think about outsourcing
The article swapping sounds like a really good idea, as long as one is comparing apples to apples, or rather, articles to articles!
If you have a good design site with good content, guest posters will come to you without even asking.
That was what happened when I happened to take little care of my precious blog.Have an ad that says’Guest writers are invited’-It usually works.
Agree to Nicole Price. Small time bloggers [like me too!] can not affords SEO professionals and even content writers.
ya i too agree. The most important aspect of blogging should be content. It doesnt matter we get instant traffic within short span of time but its sure we are gonna be paid in long run.
Writing also bring the best feeling of satisfaction for me.
I love writing too. Sometimes, I can even write more than 2k words of article without even realizing the numbers.
Thankyou for the tips. I’ll keep them in mind next time i make a post or hire a writer
I think outsourcing the work is awesome. As a “business owner” you can’t always wear all the hats.
For business, professional SEO and professional outsourcing are very much needed if they have to survive in the market. For small time bloggers, some basic SEO tips like alt tags for images-will have significant improvement in the search engine traffic.
…but I wanted to add this too: They won’t come just from the writing if their is no marketing.
There are a ton of sites out there falling by the way side and businesses for that matter that never figured out how to market. They had the best product, best do-dad… but couldn’t get any traffic.
For traffic, social bookmarking sites like Digg and others sometimes help.
As for marketing,I feel Entrecard is the best a start up blogger.
I totally agree with you Kenny. I had some pretty neat products at one time but had no idea how to market them. It wasn’t until I got with Mentoring for Free that I started heading in the right direction. What I’m saying is we all can use guidance, especially when we first get started with network marketing. You have some great comments and I know I will learn much from visiting this blog regularly.
You’re so right. No matter what, it what you write that keep the visitor coming back!
Content, righly said is still the King. But one should always write something interesting that motivates the readers to read till the end. Thanks.
Actually my first objective for blogging is to satisfy myself. I already have a job that pays the bills so blogging hsould not be a second job for me. I should be able to enjoy while doing it.
I still do research and write all the contents in my blog by myself. Not to the level of employing a writer yet.
I do the same and I’m sure a large percentage of bloggers are in our boat. As long as we get results that should be what matters right now.
Content is king, original content is queen
Original and unique articles always rank higher and are well known to do better than rewritten articles.
Very good tips. Content is very important, and what is even more important is quality of content, so if you are not talendet in creating useful content then you should consider hiring professionals.
Yea,getting a guest blogger to write an article won’t be a bad idea….some times, you get a lot of traffic to the guest posts
Thanks for tips.
Content is king and someone must develop the content. Now, I would be one to say that I personally endorse the concept of writing your content with SEO in mind. It becomes your foundation upon which to build a solid website and online presence with.
Yea,a very good written content with little SEO will perform great.
That’s just commonsense
But,the problem is many bloggers nowadays are looking for the next big thing and forget the most basic ones.
Very nicely said. A good content is important but equally important is the SEO. It’s like bread and butter. Both must go together
By the way, I am learning how to create templates too. I think I’d be spending a long time here for some information
take care,
This should be a given, but I think a lot of people are forgetting that good writing is key. I have seen some terrible posts recently, someone just added random words around the obvious keywords. the posts themselves did’nt even make sense.
I agree with Hank. I just read a soccer blog the other day (I’m a fan.) that was just a weird ramble based around a REALLY obvious keyword, which was repeated 15 times in 300 or so word article. Some blog.
This being said, what would be a good price for say a 300-500 word article?? I would love to know!
Even though i suck at writing on my blog and my sites i still try and people seem to still read my content, i couldn`t even write a letter, but once i started bloging it really helped me a lot
