Free Image Hosting and Photo Share at Pict.com
Finding a good image hosting service online can be confusing. I know this because I have searched for several of this type of site online, made an account at each of them, only to find the instructions confusing, the bandwidth limited and the ads crowded.
If those are also the problems you are facing, you should give Pict.com a try
Pict.com is a free image hosting service that lets you upload and share your images with one click. No more confused instructions and complicated procedure, enjoy one-click feature! No more limited bandwidth like Photobucket or Google Pages, enjoy unlimited bandwidth! No more sponsored ads like Imageshack, enjoy ads free web page!
I tested it by uploading three photos I had saved on my laptop and the uploading process was quick and the photo quality was crisp and clear. You just need to click on “Upload image” button, choose the photo file from your computer, open it, wait for 5 seconds and that’s it. Very simple. You are also given the option of uploading images from an url if that is your preference and you are able to save the images you have uploaded to your inbox.

In order to share the image you have uploaded, all you need to do is move your mouse over the image and then click the “Share it link”. The sharing feature allows you to show the image to your friends via ICQ, AOL, IRC …, insert the image to forum or blog … and more.
You life will be easier if you are using Mozilla Firefox. They developed an add-on for Firefox which allows you to make screenshots of custom selected area or whole website with one click and automatically upload them to Pict.com image hosting. It also makes it possible right-click and upload to Pict any image you see in your browser! Click here to download the add-on.
In my opinion, Pict.com is a great image hosting site – free, simple to use, good clear instructions and best of all you don’t even have to sign up

Thanks for this info. I always use my blog host account for all the image that is shown in my blog post. I would like to reduce the usage of my bandwidth too. This could be a good start.
I like the idea of the Firefox add on! The lack of ads and the unlimited bandwidth really works for me too!
I agree, great free host
But you risk to lose your images, so you should backup your data, if you choose to utilize any image hosting.
but what if this site have troubles ? what do you think about your photos ?
better you use for not important photos ” which not affect on your blog/site” .
Interesting. They seem to have a bunch of benefits. I know a lot of people are having that bandwidth problem.
I just recently find out about this site. DAMN COOL!!!!!!!!!thanks
Thats a cool find…Having seen a lot of bandwidth problems in many sites these days,I think this is extremely useful
Thanks to Themelib for sharing to everyone. I have also written about this in one of my other blogs which talk about free stuff..
Thanks for this review. I’ve used photobucket for all my pics and it’s very slow recently. Maybe I’ve to have a chance
Shifting is a great idea. But if u have a habit of photobucket then it will be hard to move
Habits are hard to break. The real deal is just trying to decide which one works the most effective and the most efficient and go with that one.
It even remember my album without register or login. I’ve setup its Firefox’s addon. Really cool lol
Yup, it is also a nice surprise for me. It remembers what I’ve uploaded. Cool ^^
Thats really a cool feature
I forgot to get the add on yesterday…cool got it. Thanks.
I don’t really use any image hosting services. What would be the primary reasons to use one in general? Why not host the images on your own server, or off your own website where you could optimize them and get SE traffic from them?
It is handy as a backup, and will also save you bandwidth costs, so it will be of value to people on a restricted budget, I suppose…..
And it will be really helpful for blogs hosted on blogger as it has a total size limit on images.
I hate the advertising :s
My favorit image hosting are flickr and skydrive
I think you haven’t mentioned about the space allowed. And their Firefox addon is really helpful for Webmasters and Bloggers .
Thanks for that .
Great new photo site! It is a lot easier than photo bucket. The add on for Mozilla is a great feature too. It helps with blogging and makes my life a bit easier.
imgboot.com works just as well. Have no problems with it so far.
The unlimited bandwidth is a huge benefit. It doesn’t cost anything use, does it?
Apparently, photobucket is increasing its bandwidth now in an effort to keep up with sites like pict.com
I have never seen pict.com However I am using photobucket and all I can say is that for me its the best picture sharing website.
Thanks for the great free host. Previously, did not know about it ..
