Remove Nofollow Attribute from Your Template – Blog Comment Series Part 01
Introduction
Blogger by default automatically adds the “nofollow” attribute to all links from user generated content included comments, linkbacks, and trackbacks. This tag was originally created to prevent search engines from indexing links in order to reduce spam. When you remove the “nofollow” tag, this will then provide “link juice” back to the people who comment on your blog. While this will likely increase spam comments, you should also make sure that the template Comments section of Blogger is setup to prevent people from leaving comments without entering the CAPTCHA.
How to remove the “nofollow” attribute
First, you need to login to your Blogger dashboard. Then navigate to Layout -> Page Elements -> Edit HTML. Press Ctrl+F to find the “nofollow” tag in the template file, and then simply remove it. Please make sure that the checkbox “Expand Widget Templates” is checked. There should be two instances of this tag in total, the first is in the backlinks section and the second is in the comments section.
Here is the position of the first instance of nofollow attribute in backlinks section

And here is the position of the second instance of nofollow attribute in comments section

Let your readers know about it
When the “nofollow” tag is removed, you should post an entry on your blog to let your readers know about it. You can also put the “u comment i follow” badge in your blog sidebar to let readers know that their links will be followed. The best method is combine both of the techniques above
What should commentators do?
When you post a comment while logged in to your Blogger/Google account, you will generate a link to your author profile, rather than your actual blog URL. Linking to your Profile page on a DoFollow blog is totally worthless.
When commenting at a Blogspot blog, choose the option for Name/URL on the drop down box “Select profile”. This will allow you to enter your Name (or name of your blog) and the Url to the blog itself.
I’m using WordPress, not Blogger
If you’re a WordPress’s user, you’re lucky. There is a plugin called “Nofollow free“, just install this wordpress plugin and it will do the rest for you.

Thats an excellent article.. I never thought we can ever remove no-follow attribute from blogger. But the above mentioned way is really very simple even for a layman. But I have a question. Does giving link benefit to other people harms the blog owner or not? If its not, why all websites and blogs are not do-follow?
