Google Pagerank Update December 2008 – ThemeLib is now PR6!
Do you still remember the last Google pagerank update? It happened about three months ago in September 2008. I was hoping that Google will start the next Pagerank update in January 2009, but it looks Google has actually started Pagerank update a bit earlier 
ThemeLib is a small six-months-old blog which was founded to be a source for bloggers by offering quality Blogger Templates, promoting beatiful WordPress Themes and publishing articles on Blogging Tips and Web Stuff related to blogging.
I have been working hard on building up this site and I guess I have done my job very well . ThemeLib was opened on June 2008, got PR0 in July 2008, got PR5 in September 2008, and ThemeLib is now Pagerank 6. This PR6 value is really the best gift for year 2008 from Google for me 
.
How about you? If you’ve seen any movement within your Pagerank let us all know so we can see if something bigger is going on!

I have read on ‘search journal’s’ blog that google’s PR algorithm has changed slightly last year around Oct to deal with paid links which might lower your score, might be old news though.
As for me my PR hasn’t changed but I am also trying to add some ‘quality’ links to my site to boost search engine placement, to boost traffic.
I can’t see any blogs in Entrecard that have PR6 other than yours. You must be the only one in this huge family.

Congrats! A few years ago I have managed to achieve 2 PR7 in just 3 or so months. pimpmefamous is still PR5 even though I sold it years ago and the other person has not touched it. PR seems much harder to achieve now days.

I am impressed, however, you have over 44,000 backlinks. Did you use some kind of blog comment automation tool?
I don’t think blog comment automation tool would help.There are many anti spam plug ins that even filter out valid comments.
I think the 44,000 back links should be due to a large number of bloggers using themelib templates.
I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.

Google updated the toolbar page rank again on 2 April 2009.This time they filtered more back links. Previously i have around 70 now i have just 10 back links left for my site http://www.cybex.in. But site rank well on all top keywords. It seems google backlinks scheme updated too. It still loves article links as i did for my site.
Your PR just dropped to 5 from 6 .
The result of selling links. Poor me.

Whoa! PR6 so fast! I’m continuously looking for ways to up my PR… Only up to PR 1 after their first update in 3 months. Hopefully more growth next time around

PR comes when you got so many external links to you site and moreover those external links should have a better PR. Try to submit you website in delevant directories, Article Submission sites, fourms etc. All the best.. And keep waiting for the themelib upcoming tutorials on SEO.
