Finally, WordPress 2.7 is out! If you log into your WordPress today you will notice a message saying “WordPress 2.7 is available! Please update now.” That is right, WordPress version 2.7 is available for download.

Again the WordPress Update..But no “Good” Updates for blogger.Blogger did some boring update 2-3 days back but it’s not so good
I’m agreed with your point, anyway WordPress 2.7 is really cool that even I also hope to have a site hosted by WordPress.
But I’m thankful to the Blogger, because they did a great job on recent update, the backup is really a very essential part for every site.
I’m waiting for their MAJOR update to an official release. Beta version means lots of bugs lol

it took me a while to dnload this version, but once i heard alot of the old WP apps were getting hacked i switched over asap
