I have just read an interesting post on Michael Jubel’s blog about the release of Platformate, his personal wordpress theme. Do you still remember Michael Jubel ? Yes, he is the one who created the most popular magazine style wordpress theme - Arthemia.
Platformate is a unique magazine-style wordpress theme that keeps your blog personal. It has a touch of magazine block elements showing hot discussion and most popular posts in the front page while having other posts remain as usual blog date-ordered lists, along with automatically generated fancy thumbnails that are displayed at a pretty sidebar to show your latest posts. With Platformate, your blog is total make-over!
Here are some features of Platformate which I love
Popularity Contest

The upper part of the theme shows a list of most commented posts, titled here as “Hot Discussions”, and a list of most popular posts that are generated by the Popularity Contest plugin. Why putting these lists on the top? Don’t these lists usually displayed in the sidebar or at the bottom of a blog? Well, why not? Imagine if there is someone who accidentally bumped into your blog and they have no idea what your blog is all about. Isn’t it a good idea to deliver them the most popular post? Isn’t it an effective way to show them the best that your blog has and hope them to become one of your loyal readers?
Side Notes

This side notes section will show your Gravatar, along with some information about author name, posting name, post category, and any other information you like. This section only displayed in single post views.
About Me Section

This is where you describe yourself, your blog, and maybe put some inspirational quote of yours. It is fully customizable and can be easily configured in the Wordpress administration panel.
Blog Sidebar

This is the left sidebar, a usual sidebar that a blog usually has. This sidebar is widget-ready and configurable through Wordpress administration panel. As you can see, this sidebar expands vertically to match the height of the content. No matter how long is your post - or how many comments you have - this light blue sidebar will fill the left side of your blog, balancing the emptiness with a fresh-colored box.
In one single purchase as low as $50, you get the unlimited possibility to pick and decide the color scheme of the theme. Currently, it is available in 5 flavours : Mysterious Black, Misty Blue, Wooden Brown, Green Forest and Elegant Red
You can view more screenshots here or see the live demo here.

Yes I know Michael Jubel the famous template creator for Wordpress themes. I didn’t like this template much.. however I have fond of theme which we are using same on our blog template.
It’s not a bad design, but I would say that the Arthemia Premium Magazine theme looks better.

Dear nhc1987,
Is it possible to implement your cool header bar into blogger? In your header, you have a main topic, eg. Wordpress broken further into:
1. Themes;
2. Plug Ins
3. Tutorials
Just wondering whether it’s possible in blogspot and how to do it.
Rgds
I also think it’s possible
i’ll be waiting
