Once downloaded on the ipod touch, do you know if the application needs live internet connectivity to look at maps ? Lets say I am traveling and I have the ipod touch with Google earth on it, do you think I would be able to use the touch to navigate or find my way?

I like google earth on my iphone but my phone isnt 3g so it takes forever to load up.

I’ve been using the Google Earth on my cell for a while. But now they have a GPS program that I think works better.

Tech just amazes me. And the iPhone is just too cool.

I remember pulling up Google Earth on my computer and zeroing in on our house. Then showing that to my wife and mother-in-law. They were like daaaaaaang! Anyway cool post.
