5 Excellent WordPress Admin Themes
Tired of default wordpress admin themes? Looking for something to spice up your wordpress’ admin section? Here is a great list to help you get started. The order of these admin themes is based on my opinion (#1 is the best

Hint
We will get a killing wordpress admin theme when combining Fluency (#1) and Admin Drop Down Menu (#2) into one. Yeah, I’m using this admin theme

Conclusion
Customizable admin color schemes are an awesome addition to WordPress 2.5+ and you can be assured that another large design overhaul won’t be applied again any time soon.
Actually you can create your OWN wordpress admin color scheme by reading the explanations and sample code of planetozh.

Nice themes, but I’ve heard that the WP admin layout will be changed in WordPress 2.7 (in november). It’s going to look awesome.
Nicholas
Lots of plugins are going to die when WP 2.7 is released …
Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
I think it’s good
I also thought so. Am currently working on my 1st WordPress blog in 2.6 and am waiting for 2.7 before even trying to think of putting it live.
You’re using #1 and #2 at the same time?? Anyway, I’m using Fluency Admin since WordPress 2.5, cool
very informative, thanks for your info.
well i think admin’s layout isn’t a big thing. whatever it looks it’s okay
nice sharing, i love #1 too
Dark color is my favorite one
Drop down menu for #1 is cool. But will it support 2.7 ?
I’m not sure but I hope the author will make it compatible with WP 2.7
I am currently using Fluency, but I am looking forward to the new Admin in WordPress 2.7.
winners are in…
Yep, been using admin dropdown for a few months now, and absolutely love it. The ability to click and edit, modify, etc, without having to go back into the main admin panel has been brilliant, and a great productivity tool and time saver toboot.
I’ve used leopard but did not realize there were a few others. Now you’ve piqued my interest.
I have never changed Admin theme I think it is not important
I was using Fluency for the longest time and really enjoyed the look and feel of it. I just upgraded to WP 2.7 yesturday and its taking some getting used to with the new admin panel. But its a sleek look. Should be a good one to work with and learn.
thx for info
Is this available for WP 2.7? I think 2.7 have similar sidebars.
i use now wordpress 2.7 and i think that they changed the Admin dashboard theme for a new one .
but maybe i install one if i feel boring of the current one
thanks
I don’t think they support for wordpress 2.7.
Last update was until wordpress 2.6
Nice theme… How about the latest 2.7 version.. ???
As where i think nothig is change in WordPress 2.7 except the Admin Theme. You people should work on it(Themes and Plugins).
Seems to be good
2.8 sports a great look. No need for these admin panels..
Hi, Fluency is very beuatiful.. Is exist support for 2.8 ?
I like Fluency! It’s a awesome admin skin, absolutely better then default admin skin!
thanks, this is definitely what I need for my new website
