Arthemia magazine blogger template
Arthemia is a free professional magazine style theme designed by Michael Jubel and was converted to Blogger Template by me. Even though Arthemia blogger template doesn’t have middle category bar because of the limit of Blogspot (and/or the limit of my skill), it is still a high quality must-have theme.

Install Arthemia magazine blogger template
Step 1.Change Blog’s logo
Here is the logo link, you should change it to yours

The size of logo should be about 180×40 pixels
Step 2. Set up the Drop down menu
Press Ctrl+F to find these lines

As you can see from the code in bold above, we can create child items (About me, Contact me, Visit my blog) for an item (Theme Lib). You can duplicate these code to create more child items for others.
Note: this drop down menu doesn’t work on Internet Explorer
Step 3. 468×60 banner ad
The code for 468×60 banner ad is below <div class=’banner-ad’>. If you’ve got ads to place in here, then just replace the code. If you don’t have ads to use, you can leave my default ads (yeah, I really appreciate that 
).

Very nice template, i’m using it on my blog.
I’m a newbie to blogging with Wordpress and really all that entails. Anyway, having two problems configuring the free Arthemia theme.
1) I have added several categories, but only two are showing up on my main page. I cannot figure out why for the life of me. How can I list all five categories?
2) If you click on a post, what looks to be the footer runs all the way to the top. Giving me cluttered outlines and whiteboxes on the sidebar. How did I fix this back to white?

I am redesigning my blog using your template and I’ve run into a problem:
I needed make the header area of my blog bigger to accommodate a custom logo and title, so I tinkered around a bit and positioned the pagebar and contecnt area so it would not overlap, like this:

This worked great, but now the widgets above the footer with Recent Posts, Comments etc, are being overlapped by the content area of the page!
I can’t quite see where I need to change the code to make the widgets float right after the post section.
Can you help?

Ok, I solved the issues I was having with the footer area being mis-aligned. I just used the same positioning element as I did to move the page down with the same values. I just had to find the right place to implement it! *smacks head*
It looks like this:

And then I did the same with the footer bit to keep the credit intact, like so:

font-size:0.6em;
padding-top:10px;
padding-bottom:10px;
}

I notice that your front page (http://themelib.com) shows a bit different, it has a thicker header and also a horizontal ‘Browse Categories’ things.
But I don’t see them on the Demo version.
How to add them? Because they look very nice.

I am trying to remove the white space gap so the tab menu sits neatly under the header. I cant locate the right code to change.

anyone noticed how the drop down menus sit behind embedded objects. I use lots of pictures and video which makes it impossible to see the bottom half of the dropdowns (yes they are long) how do you bring the menus to the front and embedded objects to the back?

Thanks for the info, I didn’t realize it. You should add an z-index attribute to to page-bar ul element to fix this
That means
#page-bar ul {list-style: none;
z-index: 999;
}
No luck on z-index change. The menu dropdown still sits behind the videos

This is a wonderful design. Work much appreciated.
Feedback on issues that I can see:
1. Archive collapse and expanding doesnt work
2. drop down menus fall behind videos or pictures on post
3. the star ratings, mood score, and drag and drop on the blog post arrange dont work
Minor issues but thought I’d share them anyway.

I currently have a three column blog with my main post on the left and two columns on the right. I would like to add a third column to the sidebar (on top of the two existing columns) but I want it to be a single column that is the same width of the two existing columns. I
would also like to add page elements,widgets, gadgets, etc. to this column. Is this possible?

I love this Arthemia theme. The minute I saw it I went and downloaded it, and am probably going to test it on a couple of different blogs. I think it’s fabulous.
