Arthemia magazine blogger template
Arthemia is a free professional magazine style theme designed by Michael Jubel and was converted to Blogger Template by me. Even though Arthemia blogger template doesn’t have middle category bar because of the limit of Blogspot (and/or the limit of my skill), it is still a high quality must-have theme.

Install Arthemia magazine blogger template
Step 1.Change Blog’s logo
Here is the logo link, you should change it to yours
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll96/themelib/arthemia/logo.png
The size of logo should be about 180×40 pixels
Step 2. Set up the Drop down menu
Press Ctrl+F to find these lines
<ul class='left clearfloat' id='page-bar'>
<li><a expr:href='data:blog.homepageUrl'>Home</a></li>
<li><a href='#'>Menu1</a></li>
<li><a href='#'>Menu2</a></li>
<li><a href='#'>Menu3</a></li>
<li><a href='http://themelib.com'>Theme Lib</a>
<ul class='children'>
<li class='cat-item'><a href='http://themelib.com/about'>About me</a></li>
<li class='cat-item'><a href='http://themelib.com/about'>Contact me</a></li>
<li class='cat-item'><a href='http://themelib.com'>Visit my blog</a></li>
</ul></li>
</ul>
As you can see from the code in bold above, we can create child items (About me, Contact me, Visit my blog) for an item (Theme Lib). You can duplicate these code to create more child items for others.
Note: this drop down menu doesn’t work on Internet Explorer
Step 3. 468×60 banner ad
The code for 468×60 banner ad is below <div class=’banner-ad’>. If you’ve got ads to place in here, then just replace the code. If you don’t have ads to use, you can leave my default ads (yeah, I really appreciate that

Hi
I’ve just started using this theme on my site and come across a problem with Meta Robots Tag which stops search engines indexing your web site.
I ran a SEO report once I had my site ready and it threw up a WARNING message which I thought you might like to know about and advise your readers. The Arthemia 2 template adds a couple of META Robots Tag statements which are quite harmful if your site has gone live, because they tell search engines like Google NOT to index your site!!!! Which means, no one will find your website unless these tags are removed.
I have written details of this and how to remove it here:
http://technicalarticles.co.uk/?p=105
Has anyone else come across this problem?
Any help appreciated.
Dan
Maybe you’re wrong because we can’t find any NOFOLLOW and NOINDEX in Arthemia wordpress theme.
Please check your “Privacy Settings” (Dashboard->Settings->Privacy) page and make sure that “I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers” option is checked
Btw, I never add NO-FOLLOW and NO-INDEX to any templates lol
Hi nhc1987
I really appreciate your speedy response, and really you’re a GENIUS!!
Its been such a long time ago since I checked my privacy settings in the Dashboard, and so when I read your response, I went to check it straight away and it was set to ‘Block Search Engines but allow normal visitors’.
I’m not sure whether thats a default setting for my WordPress install or whether I set it this way while my site was n’t ready, bit I’d totally forgotten about it. This explains the origins of the NOINDEX & NOFOLLOW insertions, because I could see the template being used everywhere and no-one else seemed to be having the problem.
So thanks very much for your help, its appreciated.
Dan
Hi did you consider my suggestion above?
I appreciated you work but sorry I can’t afford to do that
Thanks for your reply, hope we would have a chance for cooperation.
It’s okay, and I would continue to support your work!

I’m just extending my Arthemia theme and was interested in the Sitemap plug-in.. I installed it, but wanted to add a link to the footer like you’ve done, but I can’t seem to get it to work by just adding a label with the pointer to the sitemap.xml file… am I missing something?
Also liked your ‘Did you miss any of these related posts’ option at the end of your post, is that a Word-press plug-in, would n’t mind details on that also.
