Arthemia magazine blogger template
Arthemia is a free professional magazine style theme designed by Michael Jubel and was converted to Blogger Template by me. Even though Arthemia blogger template doesn’t have middle category bar because of the limit of Blogspot (and/or the limit of my skill), it is still a high quality must-have theme.

Install Arthemia magazine blogger template
Step 1.Change Blog’s logo
Here is the logo link, you should change it to yours
http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll96/themelib/arthemia/logo.png
The size of logo should be about 180×40 pixels
Step 2. Set up the Drop down menu
Press Ctrl+F to find these lines
<ul class='left clearfloat' id='page-bar'>
<li><a expr:href='data:blog.homepageUrl'>Home</a></li>
<li><a href='#'>Menu1</a></li>
<li><a href='#'>Menu2</a></li>
<li><a href='#'>Menu3</a></li>
<li><a href='http://themelib.com'>Theme Lib</a>
<ul class='children'>
<li class='cat-item'><a href='http://themelib.com/about'>About me</a></li>
<li class='cat-item'><a href='http://themelib.com/about'>Contact me</a></li>
<li class='cat-item'><a href='http://themelib.com'>Visit my blog</a></li>
</ul></li>
</ul>
As you can see from the code in bold above, we can create child items (About me, Contact me, Visit my blog) for an item (Theme Lib). You can duplicate these code to create more child items for others.
Note: this drop down menu doesn’t work on Internet Explorer
Step 3. 468×60 banner ad
The code for 468×60 banner ad is below <div class=’banner-ad’>. If you’ve got ads to place in here, then just replace the code. If you don’t have ads to use, you can leave my default ads (yeah, I really appreciate that
).

i am trying to use this template in my blog. So i am testing it on another test blog. i am facing a problem. i am not being able to upload a logo. i replaced your img link with mine (jpg img hosted by 4freeimagehost). but it doest work. it just becomes blank. how can i solve this problem?
another question. is there any way to put “red more” feature in this template?
thanks in advance
One other question…
how can i have the recent posts, recent comments thing working?
Post date not appear in my blog with this template. What was wrong?
Another nice template i love this one it is really nice
i m facing problem with this template when i open it in internet explorer….. please help me
you can check the problem see my blog in internet explorer
I dont see any problem with your template, Except you have not configured the header properly. Try configuring with proper size image or by increasing or deceasing the overall size of the header in accordance with the image you are willing to use.
How to remove the bar at the top which is provided for 460*80 ad
Delete that adsense code for the ad from the template.
This is really nice and useful template. Thanks for it.
Nice template. I added labels with the codes you provided but how do i color the labels?
Filed under
,
Michael had answered how to do that before. You can check out the archive comments or use these codes to get the color in the style section.
color:#7DC50A;
color:#FF7800;
color:#12B5E8;
Hope that works….
I think there is a problem with the post date. i tried but could not see post date.

I am not sure you understood or maybe I am the person that don’t undetstand but how exactly do i put the color code to color only label that is above post next to date and comment. Check my page and you will see: Filed under “label”
I want to color “label” but how can I?
Try to make different class of CSS part for date and label issue.
I am very confused. I don’t know whereto begin, I only know I want to color label with #blue. There must be a simple explanation
thanks for the template, great design.
Is there a tweak to reduce the space between paragraph breaks?
Cheers
(1) my bottom 3 widgets (recent comments, popular posts, and ThemeLib) are coming up blank, what’s going on there??
and
(2) on the side-bar, the middle widget (for recent posts) is coming up blank as well.
How do I fix these?? I love the layout and don’t want to change layouts because I can’t fix it! Thanks!!!
Hi megs,
U can try insert the feed widget, and use the address feed of your blog,
For Recent Post:

http://www.raw.laceandbamboo.com/feeds/comments/default/Hi admin..can i put “read more” hack??
awesome! i fixed those! thank you.
i have one more question: how do you make your blog show the blog posts in “preview” style, where each blog is only partially displayed and there’s an option to “view more” for each?
if someone else already asked that, just forward me to the right area! so many comments, it’s hard to navigate through these…
thanks so much!!!
u can go to google and search for read more keyword and u can get that
see this blog for preview how ll it look

I am trying to change the font colors and I can’t do so from Blogger’s internal xml system like on most templates. I simply want to change font colors from blue to red for title text and green for links. For some reason I can’t find this anywhere. Help?
What are these code? Is it useful for something?
<!– skip links for text browsers –>
<span id=’skiplinks’ style=’display:none;’>
<a href=’#main’>skip to main </a> |
<a href=’#sidebar’>skip to sidebar</a>
</span>
Why yoy coded “featured”?
Is there any featured area in this template?

How to find http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll96/themelib/arthemia/logo.png .. I will replace it with my logo
Thanks
I really like the template…it is very functional yet clean.
This is awesome. The WP Themes are divided into several PHP files while the BLogger theme seem to be a single CSS file.. How do you Port wp to theme? Is it a process or you coded it up from scratch to look like Arthemia?
I think some standard templates of blogger are taken and they are developed in reference to the specific WP theme.
