NHC, The size of your RSS icon (reading book) is 17.6 kb. Thats pretty big for a RSS icon.
Fix: I hope you have photoshop. In photoshop open the image. Press Cntrl+Shift+alt+S (save for web) and save as gif. no reduction in quality, but the size will be below 4 kb.
