Installation & Usage
1. Upload the whole plugin folder to the folder /wp-content/plugins/
2. Go to the Plugins page and activate the plugin.
3. Open wp-content/themes//footer.php
4. Add anywhere this line of code
<?php if(function_exists(‘wp_pagenavi’)) { wp_pagenavi(); } ?>
5. Go to ‘WP-Admin -> Settings -> PageNavi’ to configure WP-PageNavi.
6. If you need to configure the CSS style of WP-PageNavi, open and edit:
/wp-content/plugins/wp-pagenavi/pagenavi-css.css
Note: WP-Page Navi will load ‘pagenavi-css.css’ from your theme’s directory if it exists. If it doesn’t exists, it will just load the default ‘pagenavi-css.css’ that comes with WP-PageNavi (This will allow you to upgrade WP-PageNavi without worrying about overwriting your page navigation styles that you have created ).

what if the theme footer is Encoder ? i ask because i do it before with my last theme but didn’t work ” i think because of my footer ” it was Encoder .
i want this plugin because i heard that it is good for SEO.

Adding to the footer doesn’t work for me, but places the navigation at the very bottom of the page. I think it needs to be placed in place of the navigation links in the content of the theme. That makes more sense.

I cannot get it to work on a custom theme. I put the code in footer.php file and it still will not work. Any suggestions?
