Sociable - Social Bookmarking for Wordpress blog
Did you notice that I have added some cool social bookmark icons to my blog ? A bunch of tiny bookmark icons was put at the bottom of each post. Here they are :
When you click on each icon, you will be taken to one of the many social bookmarking sites to submit your post.
The wordpress theme I am using - Amazing Grace - has already supported Digg and Del.icio.us bookmarks, but I want more ! Of course I can easily add more bookmark icons as I wish to any theme with some modifications on style.css file and others files such as index.php, single.php, …, I still do not choose this way. Because when I change to another themes, I must re-add the same code to each theme. So boring … Plugin is an excellent alternative. I came up with a few social bookmark plugins such as Social Bookmarks, Social Bookmark Links, Social Bookmarking RELOADED, … But Sociable WP plugin is my choice! Because it is beautiful, lightweight and easy to use

Sociable is a wordpress plugin which adds social bookmark buttons to your posts, and does so easily, beautifully.
Download
Install and Usage
1. Upload the whole plugin folder to the folder /wp-content/plugins/
2. Go to the Plugins page and activate the plugin.
3. Use the Settings page to change your options
Hint: Do not add so many bookmark icons because it does look a bit obnoxious for users. It also increase loading time of your page. The fix is so simple. You simply uncheck the ones you don’t want to use in Social WP Plugin admin.

Paul Stamatiou has contributed several interesting tutorials on how to customise K2, a theme for wordpress. One of his customisations is a set of icons at the bottom of a post that allow you to quickly bookmark the current page at a number of social bookmarking sites (Digg, Del.icio.us, blink, furl, etc.). You can see it in action on his blog, http://www.paulstamatiou.com, and here at MaxPower on the bottom of every page that is a post. He credits this idea to Mr. Veloso.
